Although SECOM originated in 1971 as a shared ministry of four United
Methodist churches and continues to maintain close ties with local United Methodist congregations, SECOM is a nondenominational, faith-based
agency. We appreciate support from many different denominations and
other non-religious organizations.

SECOM currently receives the support of 25 churches and over 100 volunteers
