Earned Camping

Earned Camping gives children an opportunity to explore nature, meet other kids, and see the world beyond their neighborhood. For some, it is the first time outside of the city.

Camp Henry is a Christian camp with ropes courses, water sports, horseback trail rides, arts and crafts, science and exploration, and hiking and rock climbing.

In collaboration with Camp Henry, five scholarships are offered each year to children in the SECA (South East Community Association), South East Grand, and Garfield Park neighborhoods. Transportation is provided to and from the camp. Additional scholarships may be provided by individuals wishing to sponsor a child.

Parents volunteer at SECOM 15 hours for each child who attends camp. Contact us if you are interested in sending your child or sponsoring a child for this unique camping experience!
