Staff
At any given time, you may find the following postions or combinations of positions filled by paid staff at SECOM. You may contact our receptionist for specific names of those you wish to contact, or you may simply contact a staff member through their program or area specific emails in the listings below. |
Executive Director: Oversees all activities of the agency, coordinating efforts of Board and Staff and supporting volunteers. Responsibilities include personnel management, financial management, and agency promotion.

Administrative Assistant: Supports all staff and programs through a variety of clerical methods and development of additional clerical workers. Responsibilities include communications management, data entry and report generation, data base management, records management, bulk mailings, event preparation, and volunteer clerk assignments, scheduling, and training.

Pantry Coordinator: Oversees all pantry operations including patron intake, interviews, referrals, and food services recorded as requested by ACCESS (All County Churches Emergency Support System) county-wide pantry system. Responsibilities include collaborating with other network key pantries and SECOM support pantries to share product as needed; receiving, warehouse, and pantry store management; recruiting, scheduling, and training of pantry volunteers; managing for our agency major pantry-related events, such as County-wide Food Drive and Holiday Giving Network.

Teen Parents Coordinator: Responsible for participant recruitment, coordination with collaborative agencies and SECOM staff and volunteers, accumulation and distribution of incentive donations, and assimilation and distribution of reports to supporting agencies and foundations. Works from program guidelines to counsel, refer, and evaluate the needs and progress of participants and their children.

Encouraging Family Foundations & Healthy Marriages/Healthy Relationships Coordinator: Responsible for participant recruitment, coordination with collaborative agencies and SECOM staff and volunteers, accumulation and distribution of incentive donations, and assimilation and distribution of reports to supporting agencies and foundations. Hosts meetings and translates during parenting and relationship classes and at other times to facilitate communications between participants and guest speakers. Works to refer participants to other local services and programs as appropriate. program@secomministries.org

Health & Fitness Coordinator: Aerobics: Responsible for participant recruitment, coordination with collaborative agencies and SECOM staff and volunteers, accumulation and distribution of incentive gifts, and assimilation and distribution of reports to supporting agencies and foundations. Train, schedule, and supervise contract Aerobic instructors. Works to refer participants to other local services and programs as appropriate. Train and coordinate with clerical assistants for data entry and records management. Coordinate with supporting agencies for health screenings and special presentations available to participants.
Not Afraid to be Healthy Physician & Perscription Assistance: Responsible to contact clients referred by other agencies, staff, and programs, to investigate their health care needs and refer for treatment or assistance as appropriate and available. Research availability of assistance programs. Assimilation and distribution of reports to supporting agencies and foundations. Train and coordinate with clerical assistants for client, assisting agencies, and health care provider calls, data entry and file management. Coordinate with supporting agencies for health screenings and special presentations available to participants.

Building Manager or Custodian: Oversees janitorial activities and maintenance of the building and grounds. May be responsible for van upkeep and maintenance as well as other equipment necessary for the operations and upkeep of the agency. Maintains janitorial supplies and inventories and may perform purchasing functions for special materials and tools. Coordinates with other staff to schedule and train volunteer for janitorial tasks and maintenance projects. (No email)

Current Board Members
Board members meet once a month on the 4th Monday evening. The Board of Directors works to oversee the services provided by SECOM to fulfil our mission within the community, the fiscal performance of the agency, the policies of the agency, and the functions and teamwork of Board, Staff, and Volunteers.

Executive Committee
The executive Committee consists of the officers of the Board and the Executive Director of the agency. The Executive Committee meets more frequently than the entire board to keep themselves informed of needs and changes of the agency and its constituency and to plan board activities.

Other Board Committees
