The Market at SECOM allows for our Neighbors to receive more healthy food outside of the once a month food pantry visit. SECOM purchases from local farms, paying full price to our hard working farmers, and then we sell this at half off the cost. Our Neighbors can shop at the market as much as they want using cash, EBT, Double of Food Bucks, Senior Project Fresh and WIC Project Fresh. We believe that our Neighbors have a right to access healthy, fair and affordable food!

Double Up Food Bucks program will match Bridge Card sales up to $20 a day in FREE Michigan Fruits and vegetables when a family shops at participating farmers markets.

Check out this website for information about 35 area farms and orchards (most offering the U-Pick value and a family farm and educational experience): www.fruitridgemarket.com
We're happy to be able to purchase from the following farms!

SECOM takes the Market Stand to a Section 8 apartment complex monthly. We know there are Neighbors who want to purchase fresh fruits and veggies that don't have access due to a lack of mobility or transportation. You will find SECOM's Market Stand at Camelot Woods selling healthy, local food.
