Nutritional Options for Wellness
Eating nutritious foods is an important part of successfully managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma, but it's challenging if you're facing food insecurity. Thanks to support from Spectrum Health and Access of West Michigan, SECOM is able to provide low sugar, low sodium foods for pantry clients referred by a health provider.
Healthy Holiday at SECOM
Each year, SECOM partners with Access of West Michigan and the Holiday Giving Network to provide Christmas and Thanksgiving meals to over 1,000 families throughout Kent County. Families may sign up during pantry hours and come shop for their holiday meal on designated dates.
