What is Pride for Parents?

The Pride for Parents Program empowers parents to make a difference in the lives of their children as a result of their choice to impact the community. Between January and October 1st each year, participating Neighbors volunteer six hours per child at SECOM, earning $12.50 per hour in credit. After completing their hours through volunteerism and leadership development opportunities in the Pantry, Garden, or cleaning projects at SECOM, they are able to use this credit and purchase $75 in Christmas gifts for their children. Gift credits are awarded in November each year.
